Andrew King
Founder
I’m Andrew King, the founder of SGT. Based in Buckinghamshire, my career hasn’t been spent sitting in ivory towers; it has been built on the front lines of business.
I learned how organisations actually work from the ground up: starting in telesales, marketing, and warehouse logistics at Copygraphic Plc, moving into operations management, consulting for tech firms, and eventually co-founding and running a wholesale sporting goods company for five years.
Along the way, life threw some serious curveballs. My varied operations career taught me two things: absolute honesty and relentless purpose. My personal motto is “Play to Win or don’t play”. When I launched SGT in 2024, I brought that exact same no-nonsense, all-in mindset to fixing the commercial energy market.
